Here you can see the deck is patterned with a wood bitmap.
Same with the house, you can see that the stairs and the roof are patterned.
The tree here is a patterned with a solid color. The tree has a bark look to it.
The tree here is a solid one color, as opposed to a texture.
The snow covered the ground in chunks of geometrical shapes.
Same here with the water. You can see that it's colored in with a tool that covers large amount of area, such a paint bucket.
