Class 4, Assignment 4

I didn't realize how many schools are becoming involved with Immersive Education. Harvard definitely holds a standard for colleges, and it's interesting that they are on board with this program. I liked how they explained how the worked, including how the on site professors provide the students with assignments. Technology allows these students in Finland to interact with people not only at their school, but from all over the world. That's the same for us, the places created for immersive education are for people to come together and learn from one another, whether it be from fellow students, or other professors. This video makes a good point that the kids going into school are already comfortable using computers before entering kindergarten. This means textbooks and sitting in front of a classroom trying to memorize certain facts isn't necessarily the most important part of teaching a class.
