The photo of the tanks show the difference between bitmaps and 3D graphics. Number 1 is the bitmap, and number 2 is the 3D graphic examples. As you can see, the first picture is very flat in terms of way it presents itself on a screen. The 3D graphic shows more details, depth, and clarity that the multi-colored bitmap example.
