Midterm 1

This is Midterm 1 - Fixing a RedEye. It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at http://immersiveeducation.org/@/bc/

The top two images show the kid with the red eye, one in GIMP, and one of just the image.  We used the eyedropper tool. We first used that tool and clicked on the kids eye that was NOT red so that would have that color in our palette.  I then used the brush tool, and zoomed in on the eyes and clicked a few times, until the eye was all the same color (that was in the palette).  After zooming back to 100% (instead of 400%) the kid looked like he never had red eye.
